Teacher-led. Open. Lightweight. Bilingual.

Open mathematics learning objects for every primary classroom.

Apoplous is a team of educators in Cyprus, supported by the Cyprus Computer Museum, building a clean and free website with bilingual HTML5 mathematics activities aligned with the Cyprus primary curriculum.

Designed for teachers, small schools, and classrooms that need fast, accessible, downloadable material.

“Apoplous” comes from the Greek word αποπλους — the beginning of a journey. This platform is our journey toward open, elegant digital mathematics learning for every teacher.

A practical vision for classrooms

We are creating a single place where educators can find curriculum-aligned mathematics learning objects that are fast to load, simple to use, and ready to download.

HTML5 mathematics learning objects

Interactive activities in compact Learning Object form, covering the Cyprus primary mathematics curriculum step by step.

Ready to download

Teachers will be able to download the material and use it flexibly in class, in labs, at home, or on school websites and LMS platforms.

Bilingual from the start

The website opens in English and lets visitors switch to Greek immediately, while remaining ready for future language additions.

Try 4 activities now

A crowdfunding page becomes much stronger when visitors can test real material immediately. These four live examples show the type of lightweight mathematics learning objects Apoplous is already building.

Why this platform matters

Good digital material should be educationally strong, visually clean, and technically light enough to work in real classrooms.

Fast and lightweight

Activities are planned to remain very small in size, helping schools with slower connections and older devices.

Clean interface

A simple single-page entry point introduces the project clearly and keeps the focus on the learning material itself.

Open educational direction

The long-term aim is a free resource space built by educators, for educators, with expansion and collaboration in mind.

Roadmap

We are starting with what teachers need first, while preparing space for the collaborative features that can follow.

Help us turn existing work into a sustainable open platform.

We are preparing this website to support a GoFundMe campaign and present a clear public vision: open mathematics resources, created by educators, freely available for teachers and children.
